A Parable of the Rhino with the Gentle Song There was once a rhino who wandered the vast plains, his skin thick and his horn strong.

The rhino guides by example, not by argument. Its wisdom is the discipline of presence. To follow the rhino is to learn steadiness — to know when to plant your feet and when to move with deliberate force. The rhino reminds you that pressure applied slowly, faithfully, can accomplish what rushing never could.

Its guidance is: Do not confuse stillness with weakness. Stillness may be the highest form of strength. The rhino knows that being rooted in truth allows you to endure storms and outlast pretenders.

Reflection as to Musicians

When I read these words, I see the rhino, the musicians, the unicorn — the bringers of light. Their work is not just to hold light, but to multiply it, to reflect it outward so that many others are touched. Where onelight shines, a small space is  bright; but when rays are reflected in countless directions, the darkness cannot remain.

The rhino, strong and

, carries the weight of the music. The unicorn, rare and radiant, lifts the song into wonder.

Together they are reflections of a deeper truth: that shadow can be turned into shade, and shade into light, when enough luminous souls sound together.
Each reflection makes another, and soon what was dim becomes radiant. This is how transformation happens — not by a single light, but by many, joined in harmony, casting their brilliance back into the world.
